Project is a temporary endeavor undertaken
to create a unique product, service, or result (PMBoK). The area of Project
Management consists of Business Management, Integration Management, Scope
Mangement, Time Management, Cost Management, Risk Management, HR
Management, Quality Management, Communication Management and Procurement
Management areas.
Project Quality Management
Quality Management is a special
area of Project Management. There are two complementary sub-areas of
Quality Management: Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Quality Assurance
is assuring that the work processes will be performed in a way guaranteeing
high quality output. Quality Control is checking whether these products are
really of high quality.
Analysis in IT projects
The
first, and probably the most important, phase of IT project is usually
defining users requirements and definition of the system being developed.
The requirements are divided into two parts: functional and non-functional
requirements.
Bid documents preparation for IT systems
Companies,
especially from outside the IT sector, planning implementation of
integrated IT solutions, usually commission this work to specialized
companies. The first phase of such work is the preparation of a bid for
commissioning the whole system. Such documents should contain the
description of functionality of such a system as well as description of the
business process of the implementation.
